Paramedics are professional emergency care providers to acutely ill or injured patients. Our Paramedic Program provides students with the skills, 知识, 和 clinical experience required to provide safe 和 effective pre-hospital care. CAAHEP Accredited Paramedic programs track 和 report outcome measures annually to the Committee on 认证 for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). 先决条件

All applicants must meet the following requirements in order to petition the program:

  • 必须年满18岁.
  • Must possess a current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license have a minimum of one year of experience as an EMT with proof.
  • 必须 符合条件的 for English 1010 和 Math 1250 based on your college placement test scores or must have a grade of C or higher in these courses.
  • Must have a minimum rating of "proficient" on the TEAS (explained at the end of the document)—everyone must take the TEAS 和 obtain this minimum rating.
  • Must have a grade of C or higher in BIO 2050 和 BIO 2060 (Human A & 一级及二级-设有面对面实验室), with a minimum of 4 credits for each course, 在申请护理人员项目之前.
  • Must meet all physical requirements to safely 和 effectively perform the job of a paramedic 和 to provide excellent patient assessment 和 care. 这可能包括以下内容:
