Students who want to be considered for a federal or state-sponsored aid program must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.

在2025年春季学期, students receiving a 联邦佩尔助学金 award must register for ALL spring courses no later than February 11, 2025. Classes added after February 11, 2025, will not be eligible for 联邦佩尔助学金 funding.**

在2025年夏季学期, students receiving a 联邦佩尔助学金 award must register for ALL summer courses no later than June 9, 2025. Classes added after June 9, 2025, will not be eligible for 联邦佩尔助学金 funding.**

**Exception: If ALL classes start after September 16, 2024, during the fall 2024 term; or after February 11, 2025, during the spring 2025 term; or after June 9, 2025, 在2025年夏季学期, students will be considered for 联邦佩尔助学金 funding.

This need-based grant is available only to undergraduate students that demonstrate financial need based on the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Award amounts are based on your Expected Family Contribution (EFC), 出勤费用(COA), 和 the number of credits hours you are enrolled in as determined by the Student 金融援助 office. 

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

This federal need-based grant is available to undergraduate Pell Grant-eligible students that demonstrate financial need. Funding is limited — not every Pell Grant recipient will receive funds.

The Maryl和 Higher Education Commission (MHEC) offers 和 administers a variety of state grants 和 scholarships. Rawlings Educational Assistance 奖助金, 保证访问权授予, 众议院奖学金, 和 Senatorial 奖学金 are the most common types of awards to Prince George's 社区 College students.

Child Care Career 和 Professional Development Fund 

This federal grant is awarded through the Maryl和 State Department of Education (MSDE) to Prince George’s 社区 College to pay for tuition, 书, 和 fees of degree-seeking childcare providers.

District of Columbia (DC) 奖助金 和 奖学金

The District of Columbia offers 和 administers a variety of tuition assistance grants 和 scholarships. DC Tuition Assistance Program Initiative for TANF (它围住), DC Tuition Assistance Grant (DCTAG), 和 DC College Access Program (CAP) are some of the most common types of awards to Prince George's 社区 College students.

To be considered for most DC awards, students must be a resident of the District 和 have completed the required application process with the awarding agency.

The Tuition Assistance Program Initiative for TANF, provides financial assistance for TANF customers to pursue post-secondary degrees or college certificate programs. 它围住 is a scholarship program not a loan.
